The One Hour Prayer Challenge Eight to t welve Black Sheep continue to meet every Tuesday morning at BSHDFC headquarters simply to pray for one hour over four pages of prayer requests that pour in from all over the country. In addition to these prayer requests, the team prays specifically for safety and effective of Black Sheep: Harley0Davidsons for Christ. The group is seeing some real answers to their prayer s : Membership is growing, finances are growing, and most importantly there are increas ed reports of people coming to Christ . It is for THIS reason BSHDFC was created. "I want to sincerely urge our chapters and area contacts to prioritize an extended time of prayer for their local ministry and the work of national BSHDFC. It may be once a week or once a month but it needs to be consistent ! Take at least one hour to pray for thing like... • The s afety for our members as they ride. • W isdom and direction for our leadership . • Unity within our member's families and chapters. • An increase in people c oming to Christ and the ability to lead them into the local church. • An increase of members and chapters and countries. • Prayer for our international members. • Specific prayers for the local sick and injured. Jesus said it like this in John 15: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing ." NOTHING, therefore, in our weekly and monthly calendars could possibly be more important than prayer! We have no greater tool or strategy!? ~Marty Edwards. Face Book Live Has Return ed https://www.facebook.com/BSHDFC A shorter, more concise version of last year's Facebook program will return on Wednesday night, January 8 th at 5pm (PST) Tu ne in on the national FB page for 15 minutes of information and encouragement from our international president and founder, Marty Edwards UPDATE: After our 2020 debut on January 8 th , BSHDFC is still having trouble with connection issues. Rest assured we are actively working to fix these problems. Even so, the following morning revealed that the video had reached 1830 viewers and the 621 engaged by watching and or commenting. These nu mber have always increased in the following days and weeks. Social media (even as we struggle with technical problems) continues to be a powerful tool for BSHDFC. F ront Cover Laz Alba (pictured with wife Laura) has served our ministry as a chapter presi dent, regional director and then Director of Hispanic Ministries. Beginning this month, he becomes our newest board member as Linz Philips leaves the board after two three year terms to become one of our national chaplains, along with wife Vicky.
