ZoNe rallies
For the last fieen years (or
more) the Black Sheep have
met during the first week of
May for their annual National
Leadership Summit (NLS)
and later, the International
Leadership Summit (ILS). It has
been a time to regroup, learn,
be encouraged and meet other members from around the
country – and then the world. at is all about to change
on Black Sheep's 20th anniversary. Beginning in 2019,
the annual conference (ILS) will happen every OTHER
year and the locations will continue to vary. Previous

conferences met mostly in Southern California except
for the first conference in Cincinnati (where just twelve
people attended from three states). More recently, ILS was
hosted in Mesa, AZ and one in San Jose, CA.
In 2019, everything is going to change. e large summits
will be every-other year (beginning in 2020) and on the off
years there will be multiple zone rallies put on by the local
chapters and regions. e zone events will be less business
and more riding, more fun and more time to spend getting
to know your fellow sheep – and as always EVERYBODY
is welcome! —

Laz Alba will be leaving his posi on as Black Sheep's Greater
Los Angeles Regional Director, and will become the ministry's
director of La no or Spanish speaking members (official
tle yet to be determined). This ministry is passionate about
keeping Christ's GREAT COMMISSION to "Go into all the
world…" That command is more than geography. It speaks to
culture, language, sub-culture and yes, geography.
