MODEL: LEAH MISCH Copyright 2002 – 2018 © | All Rights Reserved Designed and Printed in the USA EDITOR'S SADDLE In our previous issue, we talked about: "If you want to walk on water, you have to get off your bike". In this issue, I will touch on the second part: "When you walk on water, you may begin to sink... but focus on Christ and He will pull you up again." When we pull up to our des na on on our bike, most of us may feel like Peter felt when he walked out of that boat the night he saw Christ walking on water. Peter was nervous, but he trusted in looking at the Son Of God straight ahead. There is no doubt that thoughts flooded Peter's mind. Perhaps thoughts like: "You can't do this" or "You are not like Him (Christ)" must have been racing through his mind. Those are the same thoughts you may get when you get off your bike with your patch on or just wearing a motorcycle jacket. The moment you are off that bike, you're on a Mission. Keith Green said: "if you are a Chris an YOU ARE CALLED TO GO!" The thoughts come to all of us like they did to Peter. The moment we're off our bike, the enemy starts: "Don't talk to anyone, especially about Christ. They will think you are STUPID!" The truth is, that "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." But the enemy con nues: "NO! Don't you dare share with anyone about your Motorcycle Ministry or tell anyone about your tes mony and the life you came from. They won't listen anyway. It's a waste of me." But the truth is, that we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb - which Christ, the Lamb of God already shed for us - and the word of our tes mony. In the Greek that passage is in the past tense. It clearly says: "However they (our brothers) defeated him, through the blood of the lamb (Christ) and with the confession (tes mony) they gave about the Savior…" Did you catch that? They (our Chris an brothers) already did, so can you. So look, you have the power that Christ said He would leave us with - His Holy Spirit - and you have the tools. The Bible says in 2 Peter 1:3: "seeing that His divine power has granted us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His divine grace." The Holy Spirit in you is God's power, your bike is your tool. That is your conversa on starter. It's as simple as asking someone: "Great day for ride isn't it?" Or "That rain is not so fun to ride in..." And if you can no ce anything else like a sports team emblem or anything else you have in common, you are two steps ahead. I have no ced ladies may like to talk about clothes: "I like your shirt" or "how do you keep your hair that way a er wearing a helmet?" Great for gals, but guys, don't go there. Most importantly, pray for God to open the door. Pray for those divine appointments and then keep your eyes open because God sends them! Perhaps the people you engage will start to ask you ques ons. Ques ons about your patch, your bike, or anything else that may open the conversa on. And if you see someone in despair and do not offer to help... REALLY?! Jesus said if they ask you for your shirt give them your jacket too. So be bold, be strong, remember what Christ did for you and where He brought you from and – remember - if you want to walk on water, you must get off that bike! If you begin to sink, look to Him and He will pull you up. If Christ has not done anything for you, it is because you haven't asked. God said it over and over in His Word: "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jer. 29:13). Peter & Stacy Kaye WHEN YOU WALK ON WATER, YOU MAY BEGIN TO SINK...
