Maybe. What about having an intense love for a God who has bestowed His uncondi onal love and grace on an unworthy sinner like me? Definitely! My cure to these addic ons came in two forms: a twelve year (and coun ng) membership with Black Sheep HDFC, and a 2012 H-D Road Glide Custom that I've owned for more that five years and have appropriately named "YEEHOG!" My rela onship with Christ came as a result of making poor decisions in my life, which resulted in a lengthy separa on from my wife and children. Then, through godly counseling and the ministry of Black Sheep HDFC, I rediscovered the loves of my youth (Christ and my wife, Vicki) were not only my past, but also my future. I was the prodigal husband who returned back to Christ, my wife, and our four kids. God has miraculously healed those broken rela onships! The rela onship with "YEEHOG" came a er riding to Street Vibra ons in Reno in 2014 with my friend Ron Wall (BSHDFC, Western, WA). I was riding a 2009 Electra Glide that I had fully customized, but was ambushed by love-at-first-sight when I saw "YEEHOG" at Chester's Harley-Davidson. This amazing paint job was done by master painter, Mark Brodie). Before I knew it, I Bike of the Month The Story Behind the Bike YeeHog! • Linz "Ol Skool" Philips was fully engaged in a three- way nego a on involving four loans, three buyers and sellers with motorcycles from three states! It was a two day "horse trade" that seemed to leave everybody happy! Ma Beck (Black Sheep HDFC, Reno, NV) was the new owner of my beloved 2009 H-D (Red Rita), and I rode away on YEEHOG. Since 2012, I've made the following modifica ons to YEEHOG: • 26" front re • Matching 180 rear re • DNA wheels • raked front end • 26" front fender • front and rear air li • LED headlights and mesh cover • front turn signals • three sets of handlebars (don't ask) YEEHOG has been featured in two magazines, appeared in two other magazines, has won many shows, most notable being two category first place and one third place in three Baddest Bagger compe ons, and "Best of Show" at the 2017 Inland Northwest Bike Show Spokane.
