created the AD Disaster Relief Foundation." The new, non-profit (501c3) AD Disaster Relief Foundation now enables the AD Community to formally support one another in the event of a disaster. Donors will be able to give both in-kind donations (such as building materials, generators, cleaning supplies, etc.) as well as monetary support and will receive tax deductions for their contributions. Historically, when an AD member experiences a disaster — whether a hurricane, flood, fire, or another operation-crippling adversity — the AD community has sprung into action and worked to help in any way possible. "This tradition of helping one another during times of crisis is a testament to the strength and generosity of the AD community and is what inspired the creation of the Foundation," explained Weisberg. A FRIEND IN NEED In April 2014, when an F3 tornado stormed through Pearl, MS, home to Central Pipe Supply, Inc.'s headquarters, the company learned first-hand just how caring, supportive, and generous the AD community could be.
