"The industry seems to continue to consolidate, with distributors and even contractors getting larger, but Gulfeagle is a good-sized company," said Eames of a trait which he feels gives them the strength to compete with large publicly-traded and private equity companies while still being nimble and in touch with the marketplace. "We'll continue to grow and look for good companies to become part of Gulfeagle Supply," he said of the future. At IAC Supply Solutions, "we'll be applying some out- of-the-box thinking to improve our digital capabilities and make them more cost effective," confirmed Smith. "While our business is still built on relationships, we'll need to develop new technical and analytical skills to be successful long-term and will rely heavily on all of the resources available to the AD membership to successfully navigate the journey ahead." Looking ahead over the next 1-2 decades, Hagerty Industrial Supply's Vincent feels optimistic.
