Summer thunders with Seafair fun S Celebrate the season with this annual tradition eattle roars into the summer spirit during the next five weeks as Seafair fills the days with fun and festivities. A quintessential Seattle experience, Seafair offers something for the entire family. Whether you're taking in an air show, watching boat races, or enjoying a parade full of floats and fun, Seafair will inspire and thrill. Seafair boasts an outstanding roster of signature events. What would a Seattle summer be without the Denny's Seafair Milk Carton Derby, the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade, the Boeing Air Show featuring the Blue Angels, and the Albert Lee Cup hydroplane races? Well, it just wouldn't be summer, of course. The WAC again has the honor of hosting the Blue Angels during their stay in Seattle. The pilots and crew of the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron will stay at the Inn at the WAC. The WAC is also the official athletic club of Seafair sporting events and will help put on premier events, such as the Benaroya Research Institute Seafair Triathlon on July 22 and the Michelob ULTRA Seafair Torchlight Run on July 28. WAC members will also be gathering in the VIP Grandstands for the Torchlight Parade on July 28. To reserve your seats in the television zone, call Club Programs.
