LINFIELD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 13 Global community Linfield's mission goes far beyond our school borders, beyond Temecula, beyond California, and even beyond the United States. Therefore, Linfield's international students are not only welcome, they are strategically essential to the school's broader mission of preparing graduates to "serve the Lord and the world through their character and leadership." In recent years we have welcomed students from China, Germany, South Korea, Chile, Japan, Brazil, Vietnam, and Ukraine, and these international students have become an integral part of our school community. As part of a multi-national student body, local domestic students are encouraged to appreciate the broader world in which they live and to cultivate a worldview that is truly global, and international students are able to prepare educationally for American universities while learning about Christianity in a nurturing environment marked by the love of God. As they work collaboratively in science labs, perform in the band, worship in chapel, and play sports, all of our students come together to share the ups and downs of school life and to challenge each other in the pursuit of excellence. In the process, not only do they become more culturally aware and respectful of diversity, they also develop lifelong friendships, building a special school community that reflects the global kingdom of God.
