As always, the technical side of the IT industry had its upsides
and downsides over the past year, with security likely being the
biggest story. But the economic and financial dynamics in 2015
were also interesting, even though they generally hide behind
the scenes of technical trends, new products and services, and
competition among vendors. A few were noteworthy for what
they say about the market as a whole as well as what might be
in store for 2016 and beyond.
