Taking aim at what has long been the nation's top killer, HealthONE is launching new
cardiovascular specialty programs that can offer Denver-area patients a quality of care not yet
found within the region's boundaries. With a newly-recruited cardiac surgeon at the helm, and
an eye toward education and prevention, the programs should help reduce the toll heart disease
takes on patients, whose numbers are predicted to swell with the surge of aging baby boomers.
