Ms.Writers Workshop for Feminist Scholars SPRING 2010 WASHINGTON, DC & LOS ANGELES, CA ARE YOU A FEMINIST SCHOLAR? HAVE YOU DREAMED OF WRITING FOR Ms. MAGAZINE? THE Ms. ACADEMIC PROJECT IS FOR YOU. In a unique initiative designed to engage feminist scholars from diverse academic fields in writing for Ms. magazine,Ms. will conduct a workshop to give scholars the tools to reach Ms. readers. In this age of new media, learn to drive your message across the information superhighway to print, broadcast and digital media. The purpose of the project is to advance public knowledge by making women’s studies and feminist scholarship more accessible to a mass audience. Ms. Academic Project training includes distance-learning webinars and a live two-day workshop/conference in Washington, DC or Los Angeles, CA.
