6 | WheelsOfGrace.com | #55 Our mission is: To educate and entertain the motorcycle enthusiast, promote motorcycle riding through media with a motorcycle magazine that has a posi ve message and worthy to be read by all, free from content that is offensive while glorifying God. #CancelCulture. What does that even mean? Cancel culture is a modern form of ostracism in which someone is thrust out of social or professional circles – whether it is online, on social media, or in person. Those who are subject to this ostracism are said to have been "cancelled". Please don't post the term "Cancel Culture" anywhere. I personally, would like to cancel, the cancel culture. And isn't cancelling someone or something racism? Some days I wake up and as many of you, I shake my head in disbelief of the world I am waking up to. We have gone from banning potatoes but allowing promiscuity and vulgarity on na onal television, from feeding and suppor ng the whole world to neglec ng our veterans, and even cancelling some of my favorite childhood cartoons and my favorite childhood cartoon character (see my shirt). So what do we do with all this mess? What do we do with all the wrong being right, and the right being wrong? (2 Timothy 3:1-5) What do we do with the disrespect and the lack of integrity and immorality in all areas and all levels? I know what our Leader would do. He would do what He did when He walked this earth in the flesh. Times may have been different then but they were not any be er than today, especially for anyone that was not a Roman. He would pray (1 John 5:14-15): He would spend me with the father (Ma hew 6:6); He would focus on what His Word tells us. He e d i t o r ' s S A D D L E EDITOR'S SADDLE #CANCEL CULTURE would definitely tell us to walk by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), as it some mes is impossible to walk by sight. So what do we do as Chris an motorcyclists? What do we do when the world is watching while we represent Christ Jesus and we may be the only image of Jesus someone will ever see? Well, we do what we have always done but now we just push a li le more. We ride that extra mile. We love a li le more than we have loved before. We pray a li le more and a li le longer than we prayed before. We keep fas ng and we fast if we haven't fasted before. We spend more me with our Father. We reach out to the ones in need. We go the extra mile for the ones we never did. We show grace when people make mistakes. We show grace and we even pray for the ones that we don't like, we don't agree with, don't agree with us, and even condemn us. And when it's too much to handle, we go back to the Scriptures and we keep our eyes focused to the One that created the world and conquered death. For all these things are temporary as we are not of this world. I don't know about you, but for us here at WOG, going through these mes makes heaven a li le more real. And I don't know about you, but I have put in a reserva on for my white CVO Road King to be wai ng for me, and take that ride in the streets of gold with the King of kings. Don't be discouraged, keep the faith (Bon Jovi). Push a li le more as most people give up right before the finish line. They would never give up if they knew how close they were to that finish line. And like my great, great, great, great, great… grandfather said: "Spartans! Prepare for glory!" Burn Rubber Not Your Soul! Peter "Spartan" Kaye
