SHEEP SHORTS l This Magazine is About You After reviewing the last 4 years of our e- Magazine, we have discovered that most of the cover photos (as well as "Our Members Ride" photos) have been of Southern California members. Help us change that by sending us photos from your chapter and your state! In order of importance, photos need to be (1) Clear and high resolution (i.e. "Does it stay crisp and clear when enlarged? (2) Is it interesting and creative? If the photo is of a few people sitting around the tables eating tacos, or a large group photo of twenty small heads, chances are, it's not going to make it to the magazine. Think in terms of Action shots! Inspiring shots! Motorcycle shots! Interesting colors and backgrounds! Even humorous shots! Area Contacts we REALLY want photos of you so that we might introduce you to your brothers and sisters in BSHDFC. And if you are a woman rider, it is always our desire to show you riding your bike! Why? Because not all motorcycle ministries respect their lady riders like we do! It is our desire in 2021 to include a greater representation of our members in action. (BTW: We have enough boot shine photos.) Help us make you famous! b l When Life Gives Us Lemons One of our members lost his ring finger on his left hand in a work related accident. He writes, "Life is all about adaptation. You must learn to adapt. Embrace change. At some point in our lives we all find ourselves in situations that change our lives, but not all are willing to adapt. Resistance to change is futile. It's going to happen. Change is inevitable. I live to ride, I live to serve, I live to love and nothing can stop me unless I let it. You may lose something, but that does not mean you have lost... I'll be back [on the bike soon]. 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" Abner Octtaviani (Miami BSHDFC). b l Black Sheep Can Wrap! Denver, Colorado's Mountain High Black Sheep put a new twist on the boot shine experience and wrapped Christmas presents for shoppers, at their dealership last month. It just goes to show, it doesn't matter HOW we serve, just as long as we are serving in Jesus' name! b
