Zeal is not enough and preparing well for ANY ministry is cri cal before star ng. "It's all good!" will not work in Africa, Asia or in motorcycle culture. The good news for "How long will this take?" is that ministry starts on day one of mentorship – and even before a rider is "hanging around" observing and being observed. Your me spent mee ng with a Black Sheep mentor, learning about this ministry and wai ng for a patch, is not me wasted! As a part of your mentorship program, we expect you to con nue to be as involved as you can. This is your opportunity to see if this ministry is right for you and our opportunity to see if you are right for Black Sheep. If all goes well, the process will take between four and five months depending on your schedule. The Bible says so much about prepara on. There is nothing noble or honorable about jumping into anything. In fact, any endeavor that allows you to just SIGN UP, probably isn't worth joining. Coming June 19th Our Wednesday night program is coming back but it won't be LIVE! Why? Only 10% of our audience was actually watching the program live. Most tuned in the following day or week. The small advantage of being live was a greater disadvantage for a number of significant reasons. (a) It was a struggle for the different mes zones; too early for some and too late for others. (b) We struggled with technical difficul es that would shut down an en re program. Pre-recorded programs will be "in the bag" when posted with no issues. (c) Our special guest opportuni es were largely limited to Southern Californians. Opportuni es on the road allow for spontaneous interviews from friends and members from around the country.
