What Are We Comparing Our Health To? When asked, Are we healthy? Most of the time the answer is, Yes, but often we go on to indicate we suffer from allergies, sinus, high blood pressure, and low back pain. So ask, what are you comparing it to? Human bodies are walking time bombs. We are like an apple. On the outside looking fairly good but decay inside. That is the way that sickness and disease occurs, from the inside out. Many people judge their health by their physical appearance, although, how our bodies function on the inside is more important than the physical appearance. Medicine evaluates our health based on averages: average body temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, and breathing rate. When a doctor does a stress test and says, Hey, youre in a good range, youre healthy. Are the test results compared to yourself or others? The truth is: If a thousand people did a stress test, a machine evaluates the average, and this is what is considered good. Research has shown us that our bodies can function at 55 percent and have no symptoms. So are those results truly good? No-one really knows the potential of the human body. If our bodies are working at only 55 percent and physically able to do all the things that we do, just think how amazing you could be if you were working at 100 percent. Dont judge your health as you see it on the outside. Ask yourself, Is my body functioning at 100 percent? Vertebral subluxations will prevent your body from functioning at 100 percent. A vertebral subluxation is when a bone misaligns and puts endangering pressure on nerves that are controlling your body. Your internal decay can be stopped with chiropractic care. A chiropractor will remove any subluxations which will allow your body to function at 100 percent Dr. Dan Durrieu Family Health Chiropractic 5015 W.
