DRIVER ALLEGEDLY RAMMED INTO MOTORCYCLIST IN ROAD RAGE ATTACK By Ben Feuerherd, Gina Daidone and Natalie Musumeci A crazed driver deliberately slammed his SUV into a motorcyclist during a wild road rage incident in Manha an, police said. The two men were arguing over the "quality of their driving" as they traveled southbound on 11th Avenue near West 57th, when witnesses overheard the 31-year-old Jeep Grand Cherokee driver shout: "I'm going to run you over!," the police said. And "then he did," a police source said. The wreck — which happened outside a BMW dealership — le the motorcycle mangled and completely under the Jeep. Emergency responders took the 43-year-old motorcyclist to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center with only minor injuries, officials said. The Jeep driver was taken into custody at the scene and charges were pending, police said. Moments before the collision, both drivers "were stopped at the light, yelling at each other, arguing," a security guard for the building that houses the BMW dealership told The Post. "The light changed and it looked like the bike tried to move, and the car makes a sharp turn there and hits him," the security guard said, adding that "they were s ll figh ng even a er he hit him." The Jeep driver was s ll fuming a er the incident, according to another witness. "He looked pissed off," the person said. "He came over and asked for a cigare e. He said, 'I'm in a stressful situa on, can I get one?' and I realized he was the driver because cops took him away not long a er." MOTORCYCLIST, DRIVER CLASH IN FLORIDA ROAD RAGE CAPTURED ON VIDEO A 30-year-old man is accused of driving the car that ran into a motorcyclist during a road-rage incident caught on cellphone video near Sarasota, officials say. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Magdiel Medrano-Bonilla. The incident played out early Sunday evening when a driver recorded what appeared to be a hit and run on his cellphone. The video shows a man riding a motorcycle behind a gray Mazda 3 hatchback. The motorcycle rider then changes lanes and rides along the Mazda when the two appear to be dispu ng, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. The video shows the motorcyclist hi ng the passenger window of the Mazda, which then swerves into the cyclist who crashes into the side of the road. The sheriff's office says detec ves found Medrano-Bonilla's par ally stripped down car Tuesday concealed along a road in Sarasota. Text messages on his phone indicated he was planning to destroy the car to avoid criminal charges, the sheriff's office said. Medrano-Bonilla is charged with aggravated ba ery and driving without a license. According to Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight, Medrano-Bonilla is in the U.S. illegally from El Salvador and he his being referred to federal immigra on authori es. The driver of the motorcycle seen on the cellphone video, Darin Hendrickson, was le with some cuts and road rash from the encounter. Prior to the arrest of Medrano-Bonilla, he told Tampa television sta on WFTS that he doesn't understand why the situa on turned violent. "How can a human do that to another human? That doesn't sit right with me," Hendrickson told the sta on. S ll, Hendrickson wasn't completely innocent, according to inves gators. On the same day Medrano-Bonilla was arrested, Hendrickson was cited for making an improper lane change.
