WheelsOfGrace.com | Volume 10 Issue 2 | 13 Contact the Law Tigers now Ronda won the contest and the other five finalists were very suppor ve of her. Courtney Lambert as a ma er of fact, did an interview with her for Wide Open Radio during Daytona Bike Week. Makes me think are we 'Chris an riders' as suppor ve of each other? Rolling With Ronda becomes a reality During her lengthy travels, Ronda has found more support than she ever expected she would. People have opened their homes for her to stay on their couches and in their guest rooms and ll this day she has not had to camp yet; but she would if she needed to she told us. There is this thing on Social Media called "couch surf" where you post about your lodging needs during your travels and people respond. We asked Ronda, if she can think of one person she came across that stood out the most and she told us about Jennifer, also known as "Peaches" from Montgomery, Texas. Ronda communicated with Peaches on social media and they hit it off from early on… When Ronda met Peaches in person in Montgomery, TX, Peaches had sold everything and was in the middle of moving. All her belongings were in boxes and they both had plenty of me to ride. In Ronda's words referring to Peaches: "that woman can ride!" We reached out to Peaches on Facebook and this is what Peaches said: "Rather than going to Galveston, Ronda came through Montgomery on her way to the Texas Hill country. I saw her post about the best route to take and someone else suggested she bypasses Galveston and take Hwy 105 as the best route to get there. When I saw that comment, I told her I am right off 105 and she could couch surf at my place. So that is how I met Ronda. We rode around my area before she le for the Hill Country and then I decided to ride out and join her for a few days. Ronda is one tough woman. An amazing inspira on!" Ronda has now traveled to events all across this country that some of us only dream riding to one day. From her home in New York to Arizona for BikeWeek and BikeFest where she takes a few days to regroup and fellowship with her Law gers brothers and sisters to Laughlin, NV and off to Illinois to meet up with the Interna onal Female Riders group and ride on to Washington D.C. for Rolling Thunder. She is a regular Rider at various vet rides in N.Y. when she is home. Her Family Life Although her boys don't ride…yet, her grandkids think she's the coolest ever and say they will for sure ride their own one day, especially her seven year old grandson Tyler. We asked Ronda: "If you had to give one advise to others and especially women riders what would it be?" Her reply was priceless. Ronda replied: "When people tell you 'you can't do this alone' don't believe them. Build up your confidence, ride more, ride alone, do whatever it takes, but don't ever think you're invincible while riding. Wear proper riding gear, and inspire others to do the same." WELL SAID Rolling Ronda! When we met up with Ronda in April, she had been on the road since February and was planning to be on the road for at least another year. Since the interview, Ronda had a minor bike accident, breaking her thumb. She is on the mend, s ll pos ng during her recovery about the aspects of being in an accident and motorcycle safety and is s ll a ending bike events. She plans to be rolling in four weeks, and that is per doctors orders! Ronda is very grateful for Law Tigers sponsoring her during her journey and is constantly looking for sponsors to get behind her and her cause of Women Riders' Awareness.
